Condolence From: Sonja Gurley Rubino
Condolence: I am very saddened to hear of the passing of my favorite teacher. Miss Jean Pearce was my chorus teacher at Princeton High School, where our large chorus and small vocal ensembles, consistently, scored high "superior plus", outranking all other participants in the statewide competitions. She understood and shared my intense passion for music and encouraged me to attend college as a music major. Once there, I soon realized that my real talent was in my "ear", not my voice. (I was that left-brain nerd, who excelled in music theory, not performance.) This, eventually, led me to a career behind an audio mixing console, which is, without a doubt, what I was born to do.
Miss Pearce was such an inspiration to those of us who were blessed to share in her passion for music and life!
RIP Miss Pearce. I hope I've made you proud.

Condolence: Ms. Pearce was my music teacher at Princeton High School. I have always loved music and love to sing however, I am not very good at it. Ms. Pearce allowed me to be in chorus all 4 years. I played Auntie Em in the wizard of Oz,(no singing part only speaking LOL). I loved her. She was dedicated to us. Now when we were rehearsing it was all business but you could tell when we sang for an audience how very proud of us she was. How very blessed we were to have her.

Condolence From: Sharon Sullivan Patton
Condolence: Miss Pearce was my music and chorus teacher at Princeton. I consider her to be one of the best blessings of music in my life. She was a awesome teacher who only wanted you to perform music at your best and to love music as much as she did. The reality of how much she loved us was shown to me during my 1980 graduation choral performance where as I sang the words to our song tears poured down my face. Tears of joy for such a wonderful music teacher. I send my prayers to her family for peace and comfort in dealing with their loss. Our world has lost a wonderful woman...
